JOB SUMMARY

The Account Director leads major client relationships and shapes long-term strategic direction across integrated marketing programs. This role manages financial performance, oversees internal and external collaboration, negotiates contracts, supports new business efforts, and mentors account teams to ensure high-quality outputs and client satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead strategic planning and relationship management for large client portfolios
  • Manage forecasting, budget oversight, and financial performance
  • Oversee contract negotiations, renewals, and scope development
  • Partner with New Business team on RFPs, proposals, and proformas
  • Present confidently at client meetings and industry events
  • Apply data, insights, and market trends to strategic recommendations
  • Mentor and develop Account Supervisors, Managers, and Coordinators
  • Ensure alignment across Media, Creative, Content, PM, and Digital
  • Identify opportunities for growth within portfolios
  • Maintain high-quality standards across all deliverables

REQUIREMENTS

  • 7-10+ years of account leadership experience in an agency environment
  • Experience managing multimillion-dollar accounts or portfolios
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and strategic-thinking skills
  • Proven leadership and mentorship experience
  • Deep understanding of integrated marketing strategy
  • Ability to travel for client meetings and industry events
  • Ability to transport marketing materials, signage, and activation assets
