    The OpportunityThe Account Development Manager is a key member of the US Commercial team responsible for driving sales growth through assigned Pittsburgh Paints Store accounts. This role focuses on expanding existing business, developing new customer relationships, and increasing product adoption across an assigned territory. This is a remote/field-based sales position in the Little Rock, AR market requiring strong relationship-building skills, a growth mindset, and the ability to identify and capture new business opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive sales growth by expanding existing accounts, increasing product adoption, and achieving territory sales goalsDevelop new business opportunities through prospecting, customer outreach, and relationship-buildingBuild and maintain strong customer partnerships to increase retention and minimize sales lossCreate and execute territory sales plans to maximize market coverage and prioritize high-value opportunitiesUtilize consultative selling techniques to understand customer needs and recommend solutionsImprove profitability by managing pricing opportunities, discounts, margins, and overall territory performanceTrack sales activity, customer engagement, forecasts, and performance metrics using CRM tools and reporting systemsEducate customers on products, promotions, and solutions to increase engagement and salesCollaborate with internal teams including Operations, Corporate Account Managers, Marketing, and Customer Service to support customer successRepresent the Pittsburgh Paints Company brand professionally through customer interactions and field activitiesQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredSales experience required; outside sales experience preferredStrong prospecting skills with a hunter mentality and passion for winning new businessExperience with CRM systems preferredCoatings or related industry experience a plusAbility to travel daily within assigned territoryValid driver's license requiredStrong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skillsAbility to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environmentThe Ideal Candidate DemonstratesStrong drive to achieve and exceed sales goalsCustomer-focused approach with the ability to understand market needsAction-oriented mindset with a passion for resultsAbility to build trust and strong partnershipsCoachable, collaborative, and team-oriented approachEnergy, responsiveness, and the ability to succeed in a dynamic sales environmentLegal & Other InformationApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship (now or in the future) including H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visas.The company offers comprehensive benefits such as Health, Dental, Life, Retirement Plan (401k), Paid Vacation & Holidays, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Disability/Leave, and other Voluntary benefit offerings.
