Job DescriptionAn Account Development Manager – Datacenter will acquire new customers and drive revenue growth by seeking out new business opportunities. Prospects will likely include mid‑tier companies, multinational corporates and similar. The role involves developing and implementing account acquisition strategies to identify and build relationships with relevant decision makers and influencers within the prospect organization and to enable business development. The candidate will have knowledge of the product line and its applications and can provide multi‑faceted solutions for our customers. The position reports to the Industry Sales Manager, Discrete.Your ResponsibilitiesEstablish clear objectives for each sales call or meeting; tailor standard materials to make presentations to decision makers and influencers within the customer organization.Ask relevant questions to gather information, evaluate the customer's level of interest, and respond to areas requiring further information or explanation.Configure a product and services solution and associated contractual terms that meet the prospect's needs, taking input from relevant internal specialists. Present the solution to prospect representatives and negotiate agreement within a pre‑defined range of commercial parameters.Collaborate internally and work as the prospect champion in cross‑functional teams to build external customer relationships.Develop a personal network within the business sector and represent the organization at business sector events. Obtain market intelligence and enhance the visibility and reputation of the organization, its products, and its services.Maintain and renew a deep knowledge of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, ensuring work adheres to required standards.Participate in assessment and development planning activities, formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.
