ROLE DESCRIPTION (Sales-Focused): As the Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member for A'lan Edmonson - State Farm Agent, you’ll play a key role in driving agency growth through consultative sales and relationship-building. You’ll connect with customers and prospects, uncover needs, and recommend and sell insurance products and services that protect what matters most. This is a sales-forward, customer-facing role where your ability to follow up, educate, and close opportunities directly impacts your success and our agency’s results.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Proactively identify sales opportunities within existing accounts and through inbound inquiries; recommend appropriate coverage and close new policies.
Manage customer accounts and maintain accurate information in the database.
Assist customers with policy changes, coverage questions, and renewals—using each interaction to cross-sell and upsell when appropriate.
Support claims processing and follow up with customers on claim status to ensure a positive experience and long-term retention.
Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely and accurate policy issuance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Sales mindset with strong follow-up skills and comfort asking for the business.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain products clearly.
Previous experience in insurance, sales, or a related field preferred.
