Sales Representative

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As a Sales Representative for Justin Buck State Farm Agency, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate New Leads: Cultivate a robust pipeline through cold calling, networking, and community referrals.
    Assess Client Needs: Evaluate individual risk profiles to recommend tailored auto, home, and business policies.
    Exceed Sales Targets: Achieve monthly performance metrics for policy retention, cross-selling, and new business acquisition.
    Provide Expert Guidance: Explain complex coverage options, deductibles, and policy exclusions in simple terms.
    Maintain active licensing: Hold or obtain a valid state Property and Casualty insurance license.
    Deliver Premium Service: Process policy changes, facilitate renewals, and assist clients with initial claims routing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Active State Licensing: Possess a valid state Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license, or pass the exam within 30 days of hire.
    Proven Sales Track Track: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in sales, telemarketing, customer acquisition, or retail environments.
    Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrate clear verbal and written communication to simplify complex insurance concepts for clients.
    Technical Proficiency: Ability to navigate CRM software, insurance rating systems, and Microsoft Office tools efficiently.
