Williams College seeks an organized and detail-oriented Accommodations Coordinator to provide front-line support across two student-facing campus departments: Housing and the Office of Accessible Education (OAE). The Accommodations Coordinator will serve as a primary point of contact for students navigating accommodation requests, with a particular focus on providing support and fostering interoffice collaboration in the housing accommodations process.
As part of a dynamic and collaborative team, the Accommodations Coordinator is responsible for managing daily communications, tracking accommodation requests in specialized software platforms, and helping to ensure the smooth operation of critical workflows related to housing selection and the implementation of student disability accommodations, including the launch of a new campus Testing Center.

The Accommodations Coordinator is a full-time, dual-reporting role shared between Housing and the Office of Accessible Education (OAE), serving as the primary front-line point of contact for student and campus inquiries across both departments. Responsibilities include:
The Accommodations Coordinator also supports other departmental projects and initiatives as needed. Evening and weekend work will be needed at certain points throughout the year. This position does not require lifting or moving items beyond 20 lbs., but does require bending, climbing and descending stairs, walking, and sitting for extended periods of time.

Hybrid on-site/remote work arrangements may be available 1 day per week with approval for employees based in NY, MA, CT, or VT; subject to review and revision as policy evolves. Remote work may be temporarily unavailable at certain times of the year due to the role's responsibilities.
