JOB SUMMARY:     Manages daily operations in operational areas including but not limited to scheduling, orientation, electronic time records, data review, field supervisors, employee evaluations, medical protocol, inquiries, medical supplies, and unit and station upkeep.

  1. Oversees daily operations including fleet organization and management, and ensuring the operation is safe and compliant with company and contract requirements.
  2. Facilitates investigations including customer inquiries, addressing or escalating findings to senior leadership if necessary.
  3. Leads and develops talent in Field and Operations Supervisor roles, implementing performance improvement plans and creating succession plans for growth.
  4. Ensures team alignment with company values, policy, and procedure.
  5. Identifies and implements operational plans to improve program results including financial performance to create value for employee owners.
  6. Ensures consistent two-way communication both up and down the chain of command.
  7. Works closely with QIC for operational follow through as needed.
  8. Ensures 24 hour on call availability for escalations, encouraging decisions at the lowest possible level.
  9. Meets with partner organizations to strengthen collaborative relationships.
  10. Travel expected - Up to 25%.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High School Diploma or GED.
  2. National and/or State certification as an Emergency Medical Technician- Paramedic determined by appropriate state requirements.
  3. Current CPR certification as established by the American Heart Association.
  4. Current ACLS certification as established by the American Heart Association.
  5. Current and valid state-issued driver's license determined by appropriate state requirements (equivalent of a Louisiana Class "D" driver's license).
  6. Must be able to read, write and communicate professionally and effectively with employees and managers.  Must possess the ability to write simple correspondence or reports.  Must possess the ability to effectively present
  7. Must be knowledgeable of company protocols, operational procedures and safety policies.
  8. Must be able to drive large vehicles in normal and adverse conditions.
