Position Summary The University at Buffalo (UB) seeks a Geriatric BEBC physician for a full-time position based at our suburban practice. The qualified candidate will be appointed at the Clinical Assistant Associate Professor level. The candidate will be responsible for the development and oversight of an ambulatory practice that provides comprehensive evaluation and care to a geriatric population. The candidate will provide direct care as well as supervise other members of the care team.

This is a unique opportunity to build a state-of-the-art experience for the elderly in a community-based multispecialty setting. Given the academic mission of the Division, the candidate will oversee the educational experience of fellows, residents, and medical students assigned to the site. Minimum Qualifications

  • M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Geriatric Medicine (BEBC)
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New York
  • Current and unrestricted DEA Certificate
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Palliative Medicine
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New York
