About This Role

The Academic Program Specialist provides specialized administrative and operational support for the Office of Student Services within the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering. This position serves as a primary office contact and supports undergraduate academic processes, advising operations, student services initiatives, and departmental coordination while ensuring efficient office operations and high-quality service to students, faculty, staff, and external constituents. This position reports to the Lead Degree Analyst within the Office of Student Services.

Worksite Description

This position is On-site.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.

What You''ll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and four years of relevant experience. Requirements may be met through a combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with higher education student record software systems
  • Experience working in higher education and student record administration
  • Experience in undergraduate engineering education

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
