Academic Advisor Salary: $67,000 Warren County Community College is seeking a student -focused, collaborative, and motivated professional to serve as an Academic Advisor. This full -time, in -person position plays an important role in supporting student success by assisting students with academic planning, career exploration, transfer guidance, and educational goal development. The Academic Advisor works closely with students throughout their academic journey and serves as a key resource for student engagement, retention, and persistence init iatives. Reporting to the Director of Student Advising and Registrar , the Academic Advisor provides individualized advisement services and assists with implementation of workshops, registration activities, recruitment events, and student success programming. This position also serves as the College's Disability Coordinator and works collaboratively with faculty, staff, and external agencies to ensure students receive appropriate support services and accommodations in an inclusive educational environment. Qualied candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in counseling, student affairs, education, or a related eld; a master's degree is preferred. Experience working in higher education, particularly at a community college, is strongly preferred. Candi dates should demonstrate strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and problem -solving skills, along with the ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.
