The Academic Advising Center in the John and Marcia Price College of Engineering at the University of Utah is committed to a comprehensive approach to student success. The Engineering Undergraduate Advising Office employs proactive advising strategies to: support students in achieving success in their academic, life, and career goals; challenge students to think critically about how their decisions impact their lives and their community; empower future engineers to make lasting contributions to the engineering profession and the well-being of society.With direct supervision, this position advises a diverse population of students regarding their academic planning and progress by utilizing professional advising and guidance skills. Interprets and explains university academic policy and procedure to assist students in making decisions concerning personal educational goals leading to graduation.
