Position Announcement
Working under the Director of Student Success and in collaboration with another full-time Academic Advisor for General Education and Student Success, this position provides structured support for academically at-risk students through one-on-one or group meetings that assist students in building academic, motivational, and college success skills. Works with students in the Student Success Program and students referred to the Student Success Program. The Academic Success Advisor works with other Utah Tech University (UT) student support services to create a comprehensive model of support and accountability for academically at-risk students. This position will be knowledgeable of UT campus resources and appropriately refer at-risk students to those resources. Networks with campus faculty and staff to support students and facilitate their connection to wellness, academic, career, and faculty resources for success. Assists with New Student orientation. POSITION DETAILS, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Full-time overtime-exempt staff position. Annual salary of $44,500 for bachelor's degree qualified applicant, and $47,500 for master's degree qualified applicant. Desired start date of July/August 2026.
