PURPOSE OF POSITION: The primary purpose of the Financial Analyst I includes general accounting duties, general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, cash management, investment analysis, financial statement analysis, and other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. Experience: 0 2 years related work experience. Must be able to work under pressure and interact well with employees and co-workers. Experience with Microsoft Desktop, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access is desired. Excellent people skills are required. Should be able to perform with minimal supervision. Must be able to deal with confidential information and keep it secure. Must be tactful and exercise sound judgment. WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal hours are 8am-5pm. Occasional overtime, on-call, off-shifts (evenings and/or weekends) scheduled as necessary. Lunch period and break periods must be coordinated with other staff members to maintain adequate office staffing during departmental operating hours. Works in an area with good lighting/ventilation. Sitting/standing/moving about intermittently during working hours. Subject to frequent interruptions and changes in priority of duties throughout the day. Physical requirements checklist.
