• Night Shift hours: 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM (Monday–Thursday)

Role Summary

Prepare metal components for finishing by removing rust, scale, coatings, and contaminants through abrasive blasting. This work is key to achieving high-caliber finishes and demands attention to detail and strict safety discipline.

What You Will Handle

• Set up and run blasting equipment to create the correct surface profile for powder coating and other finishes
• Select and manage blasting media (aluminum oxide, glass beads, steel grit, and more)
• Maintain consistent, uniform blast patterns to spec
• Inspect parts before and after blasting; flag defects and collaborate with the finishing team
• Perform routine maintenance; keep blasting areas organized; dispose of used media properly
• Follow PPE and OSHA standards; monitor ventilation and dust collection; promote a safe, production-focused environment

What You Bring

• 1+ years in sandblasting, industrial painting, or similar preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skill
• Strong attention to detail; able to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or GED preferred

On-the-job training is available for candidates with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.

Physical Demands

• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working in an enclosed blasting booth with full PPE
• Regular exposure to dust, noise, and abrasive media
