Vaco is recruiting for an AR Manager for a large manufactuting company in CIncinnati, OH.    The salary range for this role is $90K-$95K. 
Must have managerment and manufacturing experience.  

Accounts Receivable Manager

Position Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for leading the AR function, ensuring accurate and timely billing, cash application, and customer account management. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to support operational excellence, resolve billing issues, and continuously improve AR processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor the Accounts Receivable team, providing ongoing training, performance feedback, and professional development.

  • Establish clear expectations, monitor performance metrics, and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Billing & Cash Application Oversight

  • Oversee the accurate and timely preparation, distribution, and customer system upload of invoices.

  • Ensure prompt and accurate application of customer payments, maintaining integrity of AR records and aging.

  • Monitor billing accuracy and compliance with contractual terms and company policies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner daily with Customer Service, Project Management, and other internal stakeholders to ensure billing accuracy, proper credit issuance, and timely order updates.

  • Serve as a key liaison between AR and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and streamline communication.

Credit & Collections Support

  • Collaborate with the Credit and Collections team to provide insight and support related to billing disputes, discrepancies, and collection matters.

  • Assist in identifying root causes of disputes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Process Improvement & Reporting

  • Evaluate and enhance AR processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience.

  • Analyze AR data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation.

  • Present findings, recommendations, and performance metrics to management.
