MAG Aerospace is looking for an Sr. A&P with Inspection Authority to work in our facility in Sanford, NC. The Aircraft Mechanic will perform daily and periodic aircraft maintenance, fueling, inspections, and documentation for specified aircraft(s). Must possess a level of experience necessary to inspect all aircraft assigned. The mechanic is proficient in the use of the current maintenance management systems utilized to maintain, Army aircraft forms and records, and computes basic weight and balance records. Participates in maintenance test flights and operation checks if required. The candidate ensures compliance with aircraft configuration control, Army oil analysis Program, and test measuring diagnostic equipment calibration. Aircraft mechanic will provide lower-level technicians guidance in aircraft repair and technical inspection techniques and procedures according to directives, technical manuals, work standards, and operational policies. The candidate prepares evaluations, special reports, and records for aircraft maintenance repair, and related activities. Personnel filling these positions are required to meet the qualifications in AR 95-20.
