Introduction
We are seeking experienced Automotive Technicians to join a busy, family-oriented automotive repair shop in Plano, Texas. Whether you're a strong B-Level Technician looking to grow your diagnostic skills or an experienced A-Level Technician with advanced diagnostic abilities, this is an excellent opportunity to join a high-volume shop offering weekly pay, consistent workflow, and long-term career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general automotive repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair common and complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns based on experience level.
- Repair and service brake, steering and suspension, air conditioning, timing belt, and other vehicle systems.
- Complete thorough Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) using Tekmetric software.
- Perform repairs from diagnosis through completion while maintaining quality workmanship.
- Maintain productivity while delivering accurate, efficient repairs.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Collaborate with fellow technicians to ensure efficient workflow and outstanding customer service.
Qualifications
- Professional automotive repair experience as a B-Level or A-Level Automotive Technician.
- B-Level candidates should have at least 6 years of professional automotive repair experience with some diagnostic ability.
- A-Level candidates should have advanced diagnostic abilities with proven production history and the ability to complete repairs from diagnosis through completion.
- Strong experience with brakes, steering and suspension, air conditioning systems, and timing belts.
- Strong electrical, drivability, and mechanical repair skills appropriate to experience level.
- Experience performing Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI).
- Strong computer skills.
- Professional, organized, self-motivated, and team-oriented with a desire for long-term career growth.
Compensation & Benefits
- Flat-Rate Pay: $25–$60 per flagged hour, based on experience and skill level.
