About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced A-Level or B-Level Automotive Technician to join a busy, family-owned repair shop in DeKalb, Illinois. This opportunity is ideal for a technician with strong diagnostic and repair skills who enjoys working in a professional, team-oriented environment with consistent workflow and opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform brake, tire, and wheel alignment services
- Diagnose and repair drivetrain and drivability concerns
- Perform engine repairs and routine maintenance
- Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs) on every vehicle
- Communicate repair findings clearly with service advisors and team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Deliver high-quality repairs while maintaining productivity
Qualifications
- Three or more years of professional automotive repair experience
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity
- Experience performing Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs)
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 100 pounds
- Strong communication skills
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
