This is a family-owned, growth-focused NAPA Gold AutoCare shop on the East Side (Morgan Ave location), built around strong processes, solid numbers, and a commitment to developing elite technicians.
You won’t be buried in low-level work here. This role exists because the shop needs a go-to diagnostic expert — someone who can elevate the entire team.
What You’ll Do
Diagnose and repair complex drivability and electrical issues
Handle advanced diagnostics, including European vehicles
Work your own tickets while also supporting other technicians
Help improve shop efficiency by solving problems others can’t
Balance productivity with your role as the team’s diagnostic leader
What You’ll Need
True A-Level diagnostic ability (this is non-negotiable)
Proven experience with complex drivability issues
Ability to work independently and think critically
Willingness to verify performance with 60–90 day build-hour reports
Comfort with a role that includes supporting others, not just turning hours
Preferred (But Not Required)
Experience with European vehicles
ASE Certifications (or willingness to obtain)
Track record as a high-level problem solver
Team-first mindset with mentor instincts
