A-Level Diagnostic Technician – High Pay, No Weekends

Stop Fighting Underperforming Shops. Build Something Better.

If you’re an experienced diagnostic technician who’s tired of flat-rate chaos, inconsistent hours, or shops that don’t value your skill set, this is your opportunity to step into a high-output, well-supported environment where good techs actually get rewarded.

All About Automotive is looking for a true A-Level Diagnostic Technician to help take our shop from good to fully maxed out. We’re currently production-limited and ready to grow — but we need the right tech to make it happen.

Key Selling Points

  • $35–$50/hr base pay
  • $80,000–$130,000+ OTE potential
  • Production bonus starting at 35 billed hours/week
  • No weekends – Monday through Friday only
  • 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision
  • High-performing shop with strong service advisor support
  • Paid training and continuing education
  • Clean, organized 8-bay facility with top-tier equipment
  • Relocation assistance available

How to Apply (Important)

We move fast — and so should you.

Step 1: Apply
Step 2: Complete a quick phone interview with our AI assistant “Paige” (takes about 10 minutes)

After you apply, you’ll receive an automated text message with a phone number you can call at your convenience to complete the interview. Candidates who complete the Paige interview get priority.

About the Role

This is a production-critical diagnostic position. You will be responsible for owning the entire diagnostic and repair process from start to finish.

You’ll be stepping into a shop that already runs strong ARO performance and digital inspections — your role is to help unlock the next level of production and throughput.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform advanced diagnostics on domestic and Asian vehicles
  • Own jobs from inspection through repair completion and final verification
  • Complete and document digital vehicle inspections (DVI) thoroughly
  • Build accurate repair plans and parts lists
  • Maintain high efficiency and production standards
  • Work closely with service advisors to ensure clear communication and workflow

What We’re Looking For

  • 6+ years of technician experience preferred
  • Strong diagnostic capability (this is not a general repair role)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High attention to detail and strong documentation habits
  • Experience with DVIs is a plus
  • ASE certifications are preferred but not required

Schedule

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • No weekends

Compensation & Benefits

We believe top-level techs should be paid like it.

  • Hourly base: $35–$50/hr depending on experience
  • Production bonus begins at 35 billed hours per week
  • Tiered bonus increases as production increases
  • Estimated total compensation: $80K–$130K+ annually

Full benefits package includes:

  • 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision
  • Simple IRA with 3% company match
  • Paid training + education stipend
  • 3 days PTO annually (unused PTO paid out)
  • Uniforms provided
  • Relocation support available
