As a Unit Supply Specialist in the Army National Guard, you will ensure your unit is well-equipped for missions by managing warehouse operations, including shipping, storage, and supply of equipment.
Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, invoicing, storing, and delivering supplies, as well as preparing documents, maintaining automated systems, and securing weapons and ammunition.
Job duties involve issuing and receiving small arms, scheduling maintenance, and operating computers.
Skills gained include handling medical and food supplies, record-keeping, and warehouse equipment operation.
Training includes 10 weeks of Basic Training and 8 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, combining classroom and field instruction.
