Revere High School is seeking a highly qualified and collaborative teacher leader to join the Instructional Leadership Team. The Revere High School 9-12 Instructional Coach supports teachers in implementing high-quality curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices to enhance student achievement, foster academic growth, and increase student engagement.
Primary Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers of students from special populations (ie. Sped, MLL/ELL, SLG etc) to ensure quality of
access
- Work in classrooms: Co-teaching, modeling lessons, observing etc.
- Work with teachers to plan and debrief lessons
- Assist in the development of rigorous standards-based assessments
- Attend regular district and building coach meetings
- Meet with building administration regularly
- Provide professional development to staff in 1:1, small and large group settings.
- Provide instructional support and resources for teachers
- Facilitate collaborative data analysis (building and district level)
- Assist in implementation of school and district 9-12 Instructional priorities
- Support teachers in implementation of a variety of district and school based resources
- Support teachers with the implementation of a variety of assessments
- Coordinate implementation of major assessments
- Facilitate/attend PLG time with teachers and administration
- Attend coach professional development
- Remain current in curriculum and instructional strategies
- Utilize school-level forums to promote and maintain a schoolwide focus on 9-12 instructional strategies
- 9-12 Instructional leadership teams(ILT)
- Assume any other duties assigned by building administrator
