The Melrose-Mindoro School District is in search of a full time 8-12th grade School Counselor who is a dynamic school leader dedicated to our mission, "Kids Come First." Someone with small town values combined with high standards and expectations is a must. A successful candidate will be self-motivated and someone who works well with others. This candidate will be someone who can laugh and genuinely enjoy working with students and colleagues, and will also be someone who can challenge ALL students to reach their full potential. A good working knowledge of the three domains of the Wisconsin Comprehensive School Counseling Model as they pertain 9 -12 grade students and staff is a must. Technology skills are critical and a working knowledge of the student information system, Infinite Campus is desired. Candidates should have a masters degree in school counseling and possess or have the ability to obtain a WI license as a K-12 school counselor.
The Melrose-Mindoro community has invested greatly in our schools by creating a PK-12 campus that was finished in the fall of 2018. We added a new addition to house the junior high, and also expanded and remodeled in the high school to create a beautiful facility. There are currently about 700 students in the district.
