Software Engineer
Location: St. Louis, MO
Hourly rate: $56.00 - $61.00
Contractor benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, 401k
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Position Responsibilities:
Assists with the development and documentation of electronic and electrical system requirements.
Develops or modifies basic hardware and software designs based on defined requirements.
Performs system tests to verify operational and functional requirements.
Supports fabrication technicians and suppliers questions during build and fabrication process
Supports resolution of product integration issues and production anomalies.
Supports hands-on troubleshooting of test racks
Perform acceptance test procedures to demonstrate conformance to design and document results
Develop and maintain scripts used to run test functions using C and C++
Researches basic technologies for potential application to company business needs
Potential for infrequent travel domestic or abroad
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
2+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelors OR Masters Degree
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Experience with laboratory test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong foundation in C, C++, and python
Siemens Capital Experience
Must be U.S. Person for purposes of Export Compliance.
