Salary: $60K - $80K+ Permanent Position With Benefits
We are looking for a Tax Accountant for a company that provides comprehensive accounting, tax, payroll, and business advisory services to a variety of clients and industries including real estate, franchisees, construction, manufacturing, service, and not-for-profit.
Summary of Responsibilities
The Tax Accountant should have experience with both taxes and preparing and reviewing financial documents, reports, and statements. This job requires a person to be dependable, detail oriented, have good communication skills and be able to perform the following responsibilities.

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.

Responsibilities
- Review and prepare general ledger accounts and adjusting journal entries
- Prepare monthly balance sheets, income, and profit and loss statements
- Perform account analysis and bank reconciliations
- Maintain general ledger charts of accounts, fixed assets and depreciation, and update accounting records and files
- Prep year end general ledger to trial balance
- Prepare and finalize tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals
- Analyze financial data and create Excel spreadsheets for tax projections
- Conduct month end closing procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Work as a member of a team
- Time management and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail oriented and highly organization
- Good communications skills
- B.S. Accounting
- Minimum three years accounting experience
- Experience closing books for small businesses*** highly desired
- Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, and QuickBooks
