What Youll Do:
As a Travel Emergency Department RN, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality care to diverse patient populations, ensuring safety and comfort during critical moments. Your expertise will help develop individualized care plans, perform vital assessments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote positive patient outcomesall while working overnight hours in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills:
- Valid New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
- BLS certification from AHA
- ACLS certification
- NRP certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities during night shifts
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior ER or acute care experience
- Certification in Pediatric Nursing (CPN), Trauma Nursing, or related specialties
- Bilingual communication skills
- Experience with Point of Care testing
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
- Up to two years of nursing experience; new grads considered for entry-level roles
- Additional certifications or higher nursing degrees (B.S.N., MSN) will be considered favorably
Other Requirements:
- Must hold current RN license in New Mexico or a Compact state
- Willingness to work night shifts (7PM - 7AM)
- Ability to travel and work full-time for the duration of the assignment
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting
