What You’ll Do:
  • Assist obstetrical staff in caring for patients, performing delegated nursing tasks, and supporting surgeons during operative procedures.
  • Identify safety needs, maintain sterile techniques, and respond promptly to emergencies.
  • Prepare and handle surgical instruments and supplies in accordance with recognized standards.
  • Support patient comfort through personal care and ensure accurate documentation of medical treatments.
  • Collaborate effectively with the team to optimize patient outcomes and safety.

Required Skills:
  • Valid BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Demonstrated competency in basic nursing or surgical assistance.
  • Excellent attention to detail, dexterity, and understanding of surgical procedures.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience as a Nursing Assistant or in a hospital setting.
  • Experience working within labor and delivery or surgical units.
  • Knowledge of sterilization techniques and surgical instrumentation.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of Nursing Assistant experience preferred; completion of Nursing Assistant course within one year is advantageous.
  • Two or more years of hospital experience highly valued.

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to work night shifts (7 PM – 7 AM) on a full-time basis.
  • Ability to travel to different locations as needed.
  • Valid certifications and compliance with all safety and health regulations.
