What Youll Do
Assist obstetrical patients with basic nursing care and personal needs
Support surgical team during operative procedures in Labor and Delivery
Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout the shift
Prepare and handle surgical equipment and supplies according to surgeons preferences
Monitor and document patient vital signs and care activities accurately
Respond promptly to emergency situations and assist in patient safety measures
Participate in educational activities and unit meetings to stay current on best practices
What You Need
Required: High school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification from AHA, 1+ year Nursing Assistant experience preferred, completion of Nursing Assistant course within 1 year (if applicable)
Preferred: 2+ years hospital experience, competency-based skills checklist completion, strong communication and teamwork skills
