Responsibilities
- Set up and operate 5 Axis CNC machines to produce complex parts and components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor machining processes and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Document production activities and report any issues to management promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, specifically with 5 Axis machines.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and G-code.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools and quality control processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
