The Luxemburg-Casco School District seeks a full-time fourth grade English Language Arts teacher. We are looking for a teacher who truly believes all students can succeed in a global environment by ensuring excellence in both intellect and virtue. We are looking for a teacher who will work well in a collaborative environment and be centered around student success.

Required standard minimum skills and qualifications:

Candidates must have a valid WI Department of Public Instruction license or eligibility to obtain license upon hire.

Plan instruction that meets student needs and curricular requirements.

Offer appropriate and engaging instruction that is student centered.

Knowledge of best practices in differentiating instruction.

Preferred knowledge and past implementation of Lucy Calkins resources.

Assess student work to support growth.

Provide a safe and secure learning environment.

Demonstrate professionalism and an ability to communicate effectively.

Willingness to collaborate with others on curriculum, assessment and instruction, as well as the creation of lesson plans/materials.

Have a growth mindset and the willingness to be a lifelong learner.

Have a background in understanding data to support building level systems such as RTI and PBIS.

Participates in all required training, at both a school and district level.

Completes additional duties, as assigned by the principal, to meet requirements of school and federal guidelines.
