The School District of Whitefish Bay is seeking a full-time K4 (Junior Kindergarten) Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at Cumberland Elementary School. Deep knowledge of literacy development and teaching grounded in math practices will serve this teacher well as they join the kindergarten team with an expectation of collaboration and co-planning. Cox Campus training or the equivalent is advantageous.
Candidates should have a desire and proven track record of nurturing young students academically, socially, and emotionally in a classroom of diverse learners. With an expectation of continual growth for all students, candidates should understand the growth mindset and embrace the challenges of creating well-managed classrooms that provide engaging instruction. Preference will be given to candidates with proven skills in problem solving, developing strong relationships with students, staff, and families, and a strong work ethic.
