What You'll Bring:
- 1-2 years of current nursing experience, including at least 6 months in telemetry
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess, prioritize, and provide complex care independently
- Proficiency in cardiac and telemetry patient management
- Valid RN license in your state or a Compact license
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work night shifts (7 PM 7 AM) and adapt to diverse patient needs
Extra Points If You Have:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior experience in Cardiac or Telemetry units outside of stepdown settings
- Additional certifications such as PCCN or CCRN
- Open to working every other weekend and flexible on assignments
Preferred Education and Experience:
- BSN preferred
- Minimum of 1 year in a related nursing specialty, with telemetry experience highly valued
- Previous travel nursing experience is a plus but not required
Other Requirements:
- Ability to attend new nurse orientation within the first 30 days
- Successful completion of onboarding and competency assessments
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, with no on-call duties required
- Meet all licensing and certification requirements, including ongoing continuing education
