Required Skills:
- Valid RN license in your state of employment or a valid compact license
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- At least 1 year of experience in a medical/surgical setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with a patient ratio of 5:1 or 6:1
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with diverse patient populations and complex cases
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg experience in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work 7 PM - 7 AM shifts every other weekend
- Dress code: Blue scrubs
- No on-call requirements
