Job Title: 41101 - Travel: Echocardiogram Technician Registered - DAYS
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Echocardiogram Technician Registered to join our team. This full-time, day shift position offers an excellent opportunity to perform non-invasive cardiovascular procedures in a professional and supportive environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with rotating weekends and on-call duties every 5th week. The start date is June 8, 2026, with an hourly pay rate of $56.95.
Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiograms, cardiac Doppler, and color flow mapping per physician orders for both outpatient and inpatient adult and pediatric patients.
- Utilize sonicated contrast within guidelines.
- Assist with Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) and stress echocardiograms.
- Participate in the call rotation to provide 24/7 coverage.
- Complete necessary documentation and communicate results professionally with physicians.
- Maintain infection control procedures and ensure equipment readiness.
- Perform clerical tasks including answering phones, managing reports, and ensuring accurate billing and documentation.
- Demonstrate excellent patient interactions using AIDET principles.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; specialized training in Non-invasive Cardiology preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiovascular Ultrasound and non-invasive procedures.
- Certification from one of the following:
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by ARDMS
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by CCI
- Registered Vascular Sonographer by ARDMS or CCI (with at least two years of echo experience)
- BLS certification required.
- Proficient in basic computer skills and medical reporting systems.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Rotating weekends every 5th week and on-call duties.
