What You’ll Do:
  • Prepare and dispense medications accurately, including non-sterile, sterile, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition products
  • Interpret verbal and written drug orders, maintaining precise patient records
  • Issue controlled substances responsibly, adhering to legal and institutional protocols
  • Monitor drug therapies for contraindications, interactions, allergies, and dosing appropriateness
  • Assist with pharmacokinetic services, renal dosing, and medication management
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe, effective, and cost-efficient drug therapy
  • Provide drug information and clinical consultation to healthcare professionals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and medication review activities
  • Supervise pharmacy support staff and verify technician activities


What You Need:
  • Required:
    • Valid pharmacy state licensure
    • BLS or ACLS certification
    • PALS certification (for pediatric care)
    • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or BS Pharmacy degree
    • Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
  • Preferred:
    • Experience in clinical, intensive, or pediatric pharmacy settings
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
