Preschool Initiative Teacher

Qualifications:

• Iowa Teaching License required
• Early Childhood endorsement required

Responsibilities:

• Able to effectively communicate, collaborate, and problem solve to plan for the academic and behavioral needs of students.
• Creates a classroom culture that supports learning of every student based upon a positive growth mindset for self and students
• Work effectively with a diverse group of children, including bilingual learners and children with special needs.
• Design lesson plans following Iowa Early Learning Standards and Creative Curriculum and conduct ongoing assessments using the GOLD assessment system.
