As a Mold Setter, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of mold setups and removals. You'll work closely with the manufacturing team to optimize machine efficiency and maintain safety standards, contributing to the overall success of the production line. Your attention to detail and mechanical aptitude will help deliver high-quality components consistently.

What You'll Do
As a Mold Setter, you will be responsible for:
  • Carefully setting up and removing molds on injection molding machines to ensure proper operation.
  • Operating tow motors to move molds and materials safely around the production floor.
  • Preparing the work area around the presses, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
  • Keeping all tools and equipment orderly and in good condition.
  • Cleaning and inspecting mold components to prevent defects and ensure quality.
  • Assisting with the tear-down and reassembly of molds to streamline changeovers.
  • Promoting safety and compliance by enforcing all safety rules and regulations as mandated by OSHA and company policies.
  • Supporting the cleaning of the molding and production floors to uphold a safe and efficient environment.
  • Collaborating with team members to promote clear communication, efficiency, and a positive work environment.
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support production needs.

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this Mold Setter position will have:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years of experience in injection molding or a similar manufacturing setting.
  • Physical ability to walk, stand, bend, twist, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Strong visual acuity, including the ability to distinguish color variations and detect defects.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and a commitment to working safely.
  • Mechanical and technical aptitude, with understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics is preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating independence, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on reliability and integrity.

Location & Schedule:
