Position Summary
The incumbent is accountable for start-up, operation, and shutdown of spray lines and metal prep equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Additionally, the incumbent will need to make minor adjustments to equipment and solutions (titration's, viscosities), scheduleworkload and maintain quality records and control points of related equipment.
Responsibilities
Read, interpret, and manage manufacturing documentation (prints, routers, etc.) to ensure production of conforming products
Set up and operate manual and automated equipment for chemical processing, media blasting, cleaning, priming, adhesive application, and related preparation activities
Clean products as required
Complete all paperwork and documentation to ensure quality conformance and proper product movement and control
Verify all equipment and materials used are compliant with procedures
Proactively improve area processes, procedures, and documentation through Kaizen activities and collaboration with area leadership and Engineering
Ensure proper storage and disposition of hazardous waste
Perform all required preventive maintenance activities
Assist in preparing for and participating in all required area audits
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
Perform weekly preventative maintenance on equipment
Perform other duties as assigned
