Seeking a 3rd Class Drydock Worker to assist with docking operations, waterfront activities, and maintenance at a shipyard in Norfolk, VA.
Responsibilities include laying out blocking arrangements, building keel and bilge blocks, line handling, guiding Marine Travelift, operating industrial equipment, and performing maintenance tasks like cleaning, painting, and pressure washing.
Requires at least 1 year of maritime or dock shop experience, ability to operate powered industrial tools and equipment, and physical agility to handle heavy lifting and work in confined or extreme environments.
Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary certifications. Flexibility to work extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.
