Position Overview
We are hiring on behalf of our client for a 3D Printing Technician to support advanced manufacturing and foundry operations. This role combines hands-on production work with additive manufacturing processes, including 3D printing and post-processing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically capable, and committed to maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all stages of the foundry and additive manufacturing process, including operation of 3D printing equipment (SLA/DLP) and manual production tasks
- Execute post-processing of printed parts to meet quality and production standards
- Follow detailed work instructions and procedures to maintain process consistency and quality control
- Monitor process parameters and adjust machine settings or production recipes as needed
- Ensure compliance with EHSC (Environmental, Health, Safety, and Compliance) protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support production goals and continuous improvement efforts
- Utilize manufacturing systems and technology to support daily operations
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or similar production environment
- Hands-on experience with 3D printing technologies, specifically SLA or DLP, including post-processing
- Comfortable using computers and manufacturing-related systems
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly (ground to approximately 4 feet)
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment (ISO, AS9100, FDA GMP, etc.)
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S and single-piece flow
