This position involves teaching, research, and service to the university community. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic development of students and the advancement of the department's mission. This is an in-person position located on the Pratt Manhattan campus in New York City, New York.Examples of DutiesJob Responsibilities:Seeking a qualified faculty to teach ASGM-201 Mobile GamingDemonstrate expertise in web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptTeach undergraduate students in mobile game development, covering topics such as environmental development, asset management, and iterative coding and testing processesGuide students through the entire game design process from initial planning and concept development to the final stages of publishing a mobile game.Introduce and evaluate comparative technology frameworks for mobile gaming, helping students understand the strengths and weaknesses of different tools and platforms.In this course, students will create games for web browsers, tablets and smart phones using HTML5, CSS3, and various JavaScript frameworks.
