POSITION SUMMARY
JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for the Mechanical Maintenance operations on an assigned shift to ensure that all equipment is operating effectively.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems to ensure that they remain in working order.
Responsible for maintaining physical building including structure and cosmetic.
Responsible for all equipment including but not limited to general maintenance, ordering parts for repair, requesting repair services.
Assists supervisors in areas of carpentry, plumbing, welding, masonry, boiler, HVAC and electrical systems.
Assists all personnel with job duties and responsibilities.
Keeps supervisor informed and make recommendations for any areas that need attention.
Provides proper safety and security to company assets including personnel.
Understands all applicable rules and regulations pertaining to the department.
Maintains daily log, maintenance forms and requested reports for management.
Understands and enforces all applicable rules and regulations pertaining to the department.
Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole.
Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.
Maintains confidentiality at all times.
Is sensitive to Native American Culture.
Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
