The CHC-Pharmacy Inventory and Reimbursement Analyst is responsible for supporting the operational, financial, and compliance components of the CHC-Pharmacy Department's 340B Drug Pricing Program. This role focuses on inventory management and standardization, split-billing oversight, insurance payor's reimbursement optimization, and ensuring adherence to all federal and program-specific requirements. The position plays a key role in maximizing program savings and revenues, processes standardization while maintaining strict compliance and audit readiness.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee inventory purchasing, tracking, and reconciliation between GPO, and 340B accounts
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and diversion risks
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure appropriate and standard inventory utilization
  • Optimize drug purchasing strategies and standardization to maximize 340B savings
  • Support daily operations of the 340B program, including split-billing software maintenance and oversight
  • Ensure accurate accumulation, matching and replenishment of 340B-eligible medications
  • Assist the Director of Pharmacy and 340B Program and Compliance Manager to monitor and maintain compliance with HRSA 340B program requirements
  • Assist in preparation for internal and external CHC-pharmacy related audits
  • Analyze payer reimbursement trends across Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial plans
  • Identify opportunities to improve reimbursement and reduce revenue leakage
  • Works with split-billing software vendor and internal staff to ensure optimal performance of matches, referral capture and assist in the identification and implementation of quality improvements
  • Assist in generating and presenting utilization reports on 340B savings, margins, and program performance
  • Develop dashboards and reports related to inventory, utilization, and reimbursement
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as savings, compliance rates, and inventory turns
  • Utilize data to drive operational improvements and strategic decision-making
  • Work closely with pharmacy leadership, finance, IT, and compliance teams
  • Serve as a liaison with wholesalers, TPAs, and contract pharmacies
  • Educate pharmacy staff on 340B processes and compliance requirements
  • Ensure prevention of diversion and duplicate discounts
  • Maintain accurate documentation and policies in accordance with regulatory standards
