Job Title: Quality Technicians
Location: Midway, KY

Shift: 2nd shift Mon- Fri 4:00pm - 12:30am Overtime is mandatory

Pay: $15.50 p/hr

What you'll do:

• Quality inspecting of headliners for vehicles
• Performing quality inspections on products using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
• Aid in the development of corrective and preventive actions for internal and external quality concerns
• Support customer quality systems initiatives
• Assist Quality Engineers with customer and supplier quality concerns as needed.
• Understand the overall quality specifications and standards.
• Follow process control and inspection procedures.
• Encourage to make recommendations for system improvements.
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes.
• Reading gauges, micrometers, calipers and other measuring tools
• Stand for long periods of time in a manufacturing environment
• General problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to train team members on quality requirements
• Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

• Must be at least 18 years of age or over
• Must comply with client's substance abuse & background policy
• Must have steady work history
• Must have general knowledge of the automotive quality standards (ISO 9001 standard).
• Must have experience with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
• Must have basic computer skills in Word and Excel.
• Must have steel toed shoes
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time in manufacturing environment
