Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties
Supervise and lead 2nd shift maintenance team in daily operations
Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment safely and efficiently
Support electrical systems including 3-phase power, drives, prints, controls
Diagnose PLC systems (Siemens / Allen Bradley), ladder logic, programming support
Maintain hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes
Perform welding, fabrication, cutting, brazing, plumbing repairs
Support boilers, compressors, HVAC, ammonia/freon refrigeration, chillers
Oversee building maintenance including roofing, lighting, fire/sprinkler systems
Ensure adherence to GMP, food safety, lockout/tagout, confined space safety
Manage PM programs, work orders, records, parts/material tracking
Prepare maintenance reports and equipment condition summaries
Train, coach, and develop technicians
Coordinate with production and department leaders to reduce downtime
Resolve breakdowns quickly while driving continuous improvement

Qualifications Needed:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Minimum 4+ years experience in mechanical and/or electrical trades
Leadership experience supervising maintenance teams preferred
Experience in food processing, packaging, utilities, or high-speed manufacturing strongly preferred
Strong troubleshooting background in PLCs, electrical, mechanical systems
Knowledge of Siemens / Allen Bradley platforms preferred
Experience with boilers, refrigeration, HVAC, compressors, utilities
Ability to lead hands-on while also handling administrative responsibilities
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Able to communicate effectively in English
Able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in cold environments when needed
Able to work overtime, weekends, holidays as required
