Injection Molding Machine Operator — Urgently hiring  in Bedford, Ohio!

Job Title: Press Operator
Pay: $15.50 - $15.75 per hour
Hours: Monday through Friday, 2:45pm - 11:00pm, 10:45p - 7:00am
Start Date: ASAP

As a Press Operator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the production of high-quality plastic components. You'll work closely with your team to operate injection molding machines, perform quality inspections, and contribute to a clean and safe work environment. What You'll Do

As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for:
  • Operating injection molding machines to produce high-quality parts efficiently and safely.
  • Removing parts from molds or drop bins and conducting visual inspections to ensure quality standards.
  • Performing basic finishing tasks such as trimming, measuring, bending, assembling, or gauging parts as required.
  • Accurately completing necessary forms, checklists, reports, and labels to maintain production records.
  • Following all company safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe workplace.
  • Communicating effectively with the Shift Supervisor and Quality Technician about any equipment or quality concerns.
  • Maintaining your tools and work area, including ground scrap parts and runners to ensure cleanliness and safety.
  • Performing relief duties or other assigned tasks to support the team and production goals.

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work methodically.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly.
  • Comfort and familiarity with basic hand tools such as cutters, knives, trimmers, and tape guns.
  • Ability to bend, reach, and stoop frequently throughout your shift.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, maintaining focus and accuracy.
  • Prior manufacturing experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.
