26ft Box Truck Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate
Location: Charlotte, NC and surrounding area
Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour (paid weekly, based on verifiable experience)
Job Type: Full‑Time
Shift: Primarily 1st shift with occasional after‑hours and weekends
Job Description
A well‑established and locally owned company is seeking a Dock High Truck Driver / Warehouse Fulfillment Associate. This position requires the ability to operate a dock‑high truck and cargo van for deliveries, along with performing daily warehouse duties. Compensation is based on experience.
Candidates must be familiar with driving a 24–26' (non‑CDL) box truck using lift gates, pallet jacks, and hand trucks/dollies. Preference will be given to candidates local to and familiar with the greater Charlotte area.
Responsibilities
- Drive 24'–26' box trucks and cargo vans for local deliveries
- Load and unload trucks at origin and destination using hand loading, pallet jacks, carts, or hand trucks
- Sort freight in a warehouse setting
- Follow routing and delivery instructions to meet or exceed client expectations
- Ensure proper documentation is completed and submitted as required
- Use smartphones and tablets for routing, communication, and documentation
- Maintain a professional appearance and customer‑focused demeanor
- Work safely, follow instructions, and communicate as necessary
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Branch Manager
Requirements
- Have or be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card (Required)
- Experience driving 24'–26' box trucks with lift gates, cargo vans, and forklifts
- Must be 25 years of age or older (insurance requirement)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile to satisfy clients
- Flexible schedule availability
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous commercial driving experience
- Warehouse experience
- Familiarity with the Charlotte and surrounding areas
Schedule
- 8‑hour, 10‑hour, or 12‑hour shifts
- Day shift / Morning shift
- Monday through Friday
- Weekends as needed
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Background Requirements
Criminal background check, drug test, and motor vehicle record check will be performed by a third party.
Must be able to pass a background check with no felonies or DUI convictions in the past seven (7) years. Employment offers are contingent upon results.
