26523 - Technical Sales Representative - Bethesda

We are currently looking for an experienced Technical Sales Representative to be based in Maryland. Sales experience within the Life Science/genomics marketplaces is required. This position requires a scientific degree and the technical acumen to learn a scientific product line. Responsibilities include growing new business and managing existing accounts.  

Minimum Requirements:

• B.S., MS., or Ph.D. degree in Molecular, Cellular Biology or closely related degree
• 2+ years' consumable sales experience within biotech, pharma, academia and government accounts
• 2+ years of hands-on lab experience in a related field is strongly desired
• Proven experience selling from the bench level to the senior-level stakeholders
• Experience selling molecular/cell biology, cloning, genomics, NGS, DNA, RNA, PCR, and multi-omics products is desired.
• Minimal overnight travel 
• Ability to be in NIH, DC area daily
