REPORTS TO: School Culture & Behavior Support Coordinator
JOB GOAL: To support the district's strategic priorities related to positive school culture, student behavior, engagement, and student success by partnering with school leadership teams and student support staff to analyze data, identify barriers to student success, and implement evidence-based behavioral supports. Provide coaching, consultation, professional learning, and problem-solving support to schools, with a focus on students in need of intensive behavioral support. Serve as a district lead for an assigned strategic priority area and collaborate across departments to strengthen school-based systems and supports.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serves as a district leader supporting the implementation of strategic priorities related to positive school culture, student behavior, engagement, restorative practices, and school climate.
Leads assigned district strategic priority initiatives and serves as a content expert in a designated focus area aligned with district goals and priorities.
Collaborates with student support teams and district personnel to identify barriers and opportunities for improving school culture and student behavior outcomes.
Supports schools in implementing and continuously improving Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), restorative practices, behavior intervention systems, and other district behavior and culture initiatives.
Designs, coordinates, and delivers professional learning aligned with district strategic priorities related to school culture, behavior support, restorative practices, and student engagement.
Builds the capacity of school-level staff and leadership teams to effectively implement evidence-based behavioral supports and positive school culture initiatives.
Analyzes district and school-level data related to student behavior, discipline, school climate, and student outcomes to inform decision-making and strategic actions.
Collaborates with schools to develop action plans, monitor implementation, and evaluate progress toward district and school behavior goals.
Maintains accurate and timely records, reports, and documentation related to assigned strategic priority initiatives and district projects.
Collaborates with district departments, community agencies, and external partners to align resources that support positive school culture and behavioral success.
Represents the district in meetings, trainings, and initiatives related to assigned strategic priority areas.
Serves as a trusted thought partner and resource for school administrators and student support teams.
Promotes continuous improvement through data-informed decision-making and evidence-based behavioral practices.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must have finger dexterity and be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, kneeling, crouching, standing, sitting, walking, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, seeing, hearing, and repetitive motions.
Must possess the visual acuity to work with data and figures, operate a computer and other office equipment, and perform accounting functions.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Background check with local and state law enforcement agencies required.
Must possess the ability to work collaboratively with school personnel, district leaders, community partners, and the public in a professional manner. Strong facilitation, coaching, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are required.
