This substitute paraprofessional role involves assisting in classroom instruction, behavior management, and program implementation under the supervision of a principal and certified teacher. Responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, maintaining an orderly classroom, supporting students individually or in small groups, supervising students during various activities, and assisting with record-keeping. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, provide references, complete annual trainings, and be fingerprinted (at their expense). The position requires working a minimum of 10 full days per semester to remain active.
