2026 SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAMMING - NURSE/HEALTH TECHNICIAN at Wyvetter School of Excellence June 2, 2026 - June 30, 2026

This position does not constitute full-time employment with District 189 for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a seasonal position only.

Reports To:

Summer School Principal

Overall Objective:

To assist in the provision of school health services and to be part of a coordinated health program so that students may achieve their optimal potential

Qualifications:

Licensed issued by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulations as either:

• Licensed Practical Nurse
• Registered Professional Nurse

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide health screenings such as vision, hearing and lice checks as directed and required by law.
• Maintaining and updating Health Records
• Reviewing medical records and complete health histories on students referred for special education evaluations.
• Assist with health related activities that will help ensure the safety of students and staff.
